Shambolic Ken caught out in oil grab
This is a shambolic mess, but nothing less than we have come to expect from Ken. Flying half way around the world, without checking that the person you want to meet is available, is frankly appalling. If I had done that then serious questions would have arisen about my ability to do my job.
I heard on the BBC last night that the advance party was composed of 8 people!! I just hope the Conservative Party can find someone to challenge him.

Cannot abear Red Ken,I remember the GLC fiascos, but when it comes to hopeless incompetence and dirty tricks on an epic scale, dear old Ken is a beginner.
The Venezuelans are masters of deception and doing business with them is very very time consuming and frustrating.
I speak as one who made some 30 or 40 visits in 18 months to secure a contract.I spent more time in Miami as they love to come up and shop and the rest of the time airborn or in many hotel lobbies waiting for stuff to happen.
Fixed meetings and appointments are anathama to senior Venezuelans, who are often Generals and will go up country duck shooting if a handy transport plane happens to be going that way.I got caught twice like this even though they had sent a car to pick me up on ther day of the supposed meeting.
Happy days,Ken was not shunned,he is a gringo and therefore a figure of some amusement in his own right,That he should want to buy oil to power his red bus fleet would be nothing short of hilarious to Chavez and his chums.
