The new nasty party

This is a very good analysis, from the BBC, of the new 'nasty party' - the Lib Dems - as their supposed leadership candidates start openly brawling in public. You can't but think that whoever wins this silly contest will make no difference to the outcome of the next election.

I think Huhne has had quite a good camapign and thatr Clegg, contrary to rpedictions, has been a bit of a wet lettuce and has none of the vision that ordinary voters need.

Still, it brightens up a dark Autumn seeing the Lib Dems make a fool of themselves.
