Warning: Voting Labour can damage your health

There was a time when the Government would have tried to bury bad news under a flurry of other news. However, all the news seems to be bad for them these days so it becomes a little harder. This is a fascinating story. It appears that since 1997 the Government has reduced "long waits" for hospital treatment but the average wait has got longer. Which means that more of us are waiting longer than we would have been in 1997.

So, despite the billions they have invested they have made things worse for the average patient! But then this is not just about money. The fact is that the party that told us "we have 24 hours to save the NHS" have in fact spent ten years slowly destroying it under the burden of micro-management and targets.

This is mirrored in education where we are now seeing declining primary standards.

It is shambolic and we need a change of Government to sort it out.
