Survey activity results in Yeovil
We have been doing a lot of survey and leaflet distribution across the Yeovil constituency. There have been some fascinating results. I will publish the full result once we have them but for now I have done a brief summary of results.
The
three largest problems facing local people are Council Tax, losing
green spaces and Anti-social behaviour. The economy, tax and crime
appear to most worry people about the future of our country. You
might also be interested to hear that the vast majority of
respondents support the building of more nuclear power stations, want
a referendum on the EU treaty and support transparency in the
sentencing of prisoners. More locally, only 3% of those responding,
to date, want a Sports Zone built on Yeovil’s Mudford recreation
ground.

I've been encouraging local people to respond to the SSDC 'Issues and Options' consultation, where there's a chance to have your say on most of these issues in one way or another. 20 days to the deadline.
