Benefits of cheaper electricity

Consumers are being overcharged by almost £100 per year to heat and light their homes, Ofgem has claimed. The Telegraph reports that wholesale energy prices have halved within the last year to reach the lowest prices in three years. However energy prices have actually climbed to reach higher prices than in 2008.
